Metaversatility Brings Singing Frog to San Antonio Nightlife
Frogg MarloweSAN ANTONIO, TX, January 25, 2006 — Metaversatility, Inc, a San Antonio-based virtual world consultation development company, will bring residents of Second Life together with the help of a local Austin venue and a couple Second Life superstars. Acoustic folk-rock musician Frogg Marlowe and local Austin musician Peter Greenstone will perform at Mozart’s Coffee House on February 17, 2007.

Suzanne Vega, Talib Kweli, Regina Spektor, Duran Duran, and Ben Folds are just a handful of popular musicians that have pioneered ‘blended reality’ events in Second Life. Such events synchronize live concert audio with three-dimensional avatars in virtual world venues.

Jeremy Works (AKA Frogg Marlowe in Second Life) regularly plays to full capacity virtual venues several nights a week, and he has written an album based on his on-line experiences. He has also recently been profiled in Rolling Stone and on MTV. Both Frogg Marlowe and Peter Greenstone are fan favorites in North America’s largest social virtual world.

Frogg Marlowe will also be headlining an event at Limelight in San Antonio the Thursday before the Austin meetup. The live audio of both performances will be streamed into Metaversatility’s own island in Second Life. Visitors from all corners of the globe will interact with other residents, dance, drink, and even throw some linden
dollars (convertible to real-world currency) in the tip jar.

Meanwhile, back in the real world, the beautiful lakeside environment at Mozart’s willserve as a space where Second Life residents, scholars, and developers will be able interact and enjoy themselves. The event is open to the public and will also be a great space for newcomers to interact with the residents of the virtual world, while enjoying a stellar real-world musical performance as well as Mozart’s award-winning dessert spread.

The virtual merriment will ensue at 2:00 p.m., at Mozart’s Coffeehouse, 3826 Lake Austin Blvd.
